Dear RCS Families,
We hope you had a fantastic summer! We’re thrilled to share that we officially closed escrow on the Hartnell property on July 3—praise God! As previously shared, our goal is to prepare the campus throughout this school year and move in for the 2026–2027 school year.
Originally, we planned a Praise and Worship night in July to share our campus vision; however, due to delays in working with the city, we are postponing this event until September. Although the permitting process has taken longer than expected, we are now in the final stages with the city and our architect.
We’ve also heard your questions about a second gym and the placement of the football field. Please know these are important priorities for us as well. Our Administration and Board are actively discussing these elements, exploring all options, and praying through the best solutions for our students and community. We recognize how valuable these facilities are—not just for athletics, but for fostering school spirit, community events, and student growth. We ask that you continue to partner with us in prayer as we seek clarity, wisdom, and favor in our upcoming meetings with the city.
In the midst of this exciting season, we are thrilled to share that one of our RCS families has generously donated $25,000 anonymously to support the renovation of our new property on Hartnell! Even more exciting—this gift is a matching donation. Every dollar you give will be matched, up to $25,000, doubling the impact of your contribution. This is a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together and help transform the Hartnell campus into a vibrant, welcoming space for our students.
