A LEGACY OF FAITH & EXCELLENCE.
In 1991, twelve people gathered in a living room to pray about a vision: an independent Christian school that would serve families in the Redding area. From that humble beginning, Redding Christian School (RCS) was born.
Today, RCS welcomes students from pre-K through 12th grade at our campus in Palo Cedro, just minutes east of Redding. For over three decades, we’ve combined rigorous academics with a Christ-centered environment, preparing young people to live lives of purpose, character, and service.
ONE CAMPUS. ONE COMMUNITY.
As we enter an exciting new chapter, we’re launching a $6 million capital campaign, running from 2026 to 2028. This transformational initiative — ONE CAMPUS. ONE COMMUNITY. ONE CALLING — will allow us to secure our land, upgrade our facilities, and create a unified campus where our entire community can flourish together in pursuit of our shared mission.

OUR CAMPUS GROWTH PLAN.
To support our students, families, and future growth, we have developed a three-phase campus plan designed to be both fiscally responsible and mission-driven. Each phase builds intentionally on the previous one, allowing us to move forward with confidence while stewarding resources wisely. Phase I: Acquisition
$2.5 Million
Phase I focuses on securing the long-term future of our campus through property acquisition.
This phase allows us to:
Acquire the campus property
Establish long-term stability for our school community
Eliminate uncertainty around facilities and future use
Lay the foundation for all future improvements and expansion
Completing Phase I ensures that our campus remains a permanent home for current and future generations.
Phase II: Occupancy & Renovation
$1.5 Million
Phase II centers on making the campus fully functional, welcoming, and aligned with our program needs.
Planned improvements include:
Renovation and modernization of existing spaces
New gym floor installation
Facility upgrades to support students, staff, and families
Safety, accessibility, and infrastructure enhancements
Key Milestones
August 2026: Move-in and campus occupancy
Fall 2027: Renovations completed
2030: Expansion funding secured
This phase allows us to fully utilize the campus while preparing for long-term growth.
Phase III: Campus Development
$2 Million
Phase III looks ahead to the future, focusing on strategic expansion and development as enrollment and program needs grow.
This phase may include:
New or expanded academic spaces
Enhanced athletic and extracurricular facilities
Outdoor improvements and gathering spaces
Infrastructure to support increased enrollment and programming
Phase III ensures our campus can grow sustainably while continuing to serve students with excellence.
