Hello RCS Family,
We are excited to share that we would like to introduce bucket drumming into our 3rd grade music curriculum! This fun, hands-on activity will give students a unique way to apply the concepts we’ve been learning in class. Bucket drumming helps develop rhythm, ensemble skills, teamwork, and creativity—while also adding extra excitement to music-making. It may even become a wonderful addition to our future performances.
To make this possible, we are asking for donations of new, unused 5-gallon buckets (plain white, if possible). Our goal is to collect 50 buckets so that each 3rd grade student can participate fully. Donations may be dropped off at the school office or brought directly to the band room.
